What to Expect

Votiva uses two methods to ensure optimal tightening to both the skin and muscle tissue of the vaginal canal, labia minora and labia majora. The Plus90 handpiece uses bipolar radiofrequency to induce heat into the muscle and skin tissue internally and externally for non-invasive tightening. The Fractora handpiece uses a micropin device that delivers radio frequency waves using a mildly invasive technique for labia tightening. Your treatment can consist of either of these treatments or a combination of both.

At AFYA Skin and Body Clinics in Waterloo & Guelph our nurses and physician perform the Votiva Vaginal Wellness treatments. A series of 3 to 4 treatments is required for best results. A single treatment booked yearly is recommended to maintain the results.*

When to Book

Treatments take 30 to 60 minutes and can be performed approximately every 4 weeks. Results can be seen in as little as 1 to 7 days and felt in 7 to 14 days after each treatment. The results will continue to improve for up to 6 months post treatment series. After the treatment, we recommend staying away from physical activities that induce heat or friction in the area for 3 to 4 days.
