What to Expect with Lumecca IPL PhotoRejuvenation

At AFYA Skin and Body Clinics in Waterloo & Guelph we perform IPL PhotoRejuvenation treatments on the face and body. We generally recommend starting with the areas most prone to radiation damage such as the Face, Neck, Chest and Hands. Then many clients move on to treating the majority of the body, since the results are so outstanding! We recommend 1 to 3 treatments of the Lumecca IPL. This is half the number of treatments needed with other IPL/BBL devices, as the Lumecca is best in its class in terms of results.*

When to Book Your PhotoRejuvenation Treatment

Treatments take 30 minutes per body area and can be performed 3 to 4 weeks apart. Results can be seen in as little as 7 to 14 days after each treatment. We recommend doing the IPL PhotoRejuvenation treatments on skin that is not tanned or has been exposed to intense sunlight for 30 days. After the treatment, we also recommend staying out of the sun for 2 to 4 weeks, as this will optimize the results.
