The Year was 2005 and the world was a much different place to say the least. In the Cosmetic Clinic Industry world, there weren’t many clinics open during this time. Some may even say they were kind of a secret at this time.
Joelle wanted to make sure that Men and Women were able to celebrate their experiences at Cosmetic Clinics, and feel comfortable in their skin.
Over the past 16 years, Joelle would see the cosmetic laser industry boom. Her drive and passion for the industry found her in many different positions, in a variety of cities including Guelph, Toronto and New York City. She worked with many successful businesses, driving their growth through her keen business sense and deep desire to make clients happy. As cosmetic laser technology has evolved, the industry is booming with new clinics. Over time though, she noticed that many treatment providers who opened clinics did not necessarily understand the business side itself. There are many components to running a business and Joelle wanted to help business owners understand the intricacies of running a successful clinic. She noticed some businesses would do well with the behind the scene work, but would lack in the front of house or vice versa. She also noticed business owners would suffer from what we call “burn out”. She wanted to ensure business owners had all the necessary tools to own and operate a business.
In her pursuit of knowledge, Joelle completed her Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management and a Diploma in Advanced Medical Aesthetics. Now with over 15 years of experience in the Medical Aesthetics industry and 4 years experience owning two cosmetic clinics, Joelle is fully ready to take on the next step. Joelle’s goal has always been to help people from the ground up, build their business without the “burn out” phase. Inspiring people to do well, and succeed is what drives Joelle every day.

This isn’t like any known Franchise. The AFYA Franchise is here to empower women to become business owners, while having all of the software, marketing, service protocols, products knowledge and daily support to ensure you can provide the best care to your clients.
Joelle has used 2020 – with all the lockdown time – to ensure all the processes are set in place to ensure Franchisees will be able to hit the ground running and skip all the typical “mistake phases” that many business owners experience. This Franchise system is unique in its own way because it gives women the tools they need to do what they love. Joelle has built this support system to ensure you can work smart!
